A propos du rachat de la startup LeanLibrary par SAGE Publishing

Couperin a pris bonne note du rachat de la startup LeanLibrary par SAGE Publishing annoncé le 12 septembre 2018.

Les conditions de l’offre tarifaire négociée par le consortium pour l’extension de navigateur LeanLibrary restent inchangées pour l’année en cours.
Le consortium insiste toutefois sur le principe selon lequel les données de navigation qui transitent par l’extension de navigateur LeanLibrary doivent rester absolument confidentielles. Leur exploitation, dont il est bien compris qu’elle est nécessaire au bon fonctionnement technique de l’extension (monitoring de l’applicatif), doit rester cantonnée à ce cadre et la frontière avec les autres activités de Sage doit être étanche. Il ne devra pas y avoir d’exploitation faite de ces données, ni de communication ou revente à un tiers (que ce soit Sage Publishing ou acteur extérieur).

Nous demandons en outre à ce que ces données soient détruites au fur et à mesure après un délai raisonnable et dans un cadre respectueux du RGPD.

Couperin has taken note of the acquisition of the LeanLibrary startup by SAGE Publishing announced on September 12, 2018.

The terms of the price offer negotiated by the consortium for the LeanLibrary browser extension remain unchanged for the current year.
However, the consortium insists on the principle that navigation data passing through the LeanLibrary browser extension must remain absolutely confidential. Their exploitation, which is clearly understood to be necessary for the proper technical functioning of the extension (application monitoring), must remain limited to this framework and the border with other Sage activities must be watertight. There must be no exploitation of this data, nor any communication or resale to a third party (whether Sage Publishing or an external actor).

We further request that these data be destroyed on an ongoing basis after a reasonable period of time and within a framework that respects the GDPR.
